About Arthur
Real estate is about people and relationship as much as it is about knowledge and experience. My real estate practice has been informed and enriched by a rather varied life experience. Three earlier careers were all about serving and helping others - Christian pastoral ministry, Primary Care physician and Financial Advisor.
In 2003 I began my real estate career, working as a real estate agent in Portland, OR, specializing in land acquisition for a builder and new home sales, working primarily with Palace Construction. The Great Recession had a severe effect on the real estate market in the Northwest, as it did across the U.S. Consequently I left for Beijing for a year of Mandarin study, which turned into 11 years. While in Beijing I worked as an ESL teacher for Wall Street English and as a foreign actor. I had the privilege of working with several well-known Chinese film stars while playing an assortment of characters.
I returned to real estate, this time in Southern California, after a visit to the U.S. in January 2020 turned into a permanent return because of the Covid pandemic. Loma Linda-Redlands is now my home and the center of my interrupted and relocated real estate business.
As I said above, real estate is all about people and relationships. It is all about serving and helping others, listening to the needs and desires of others and attempting to respond with a knowledgeable helping hand.
